• Sarcomas are rare cancers that grow in bones and soft tissues, like nerves, muscles, tendons, cartilage and blood vessels.

• There are over 70 types of sarcomas, each with their own underlying genetic changes.  Some of these changes can be identified using FISH probes to determine if a specific gene is affected..

Sample Requirements:

• FFPE Tissue sections

  • 4-micron sections on positively charged slides; include one H&E slide

  • Minimum= 2 slides

• Storage: Room temperature

• Stability: Indefinite if stored at room temperature or refrigerated

• Transportation: Room temperature. In summer, add cold pack to prevent melting​
