Get a pre-departure COVID-19 test

KSL Diagnostics can provide an approved US/Canada border COVID test for entry or reentry into Canada in two ways:

Tap or click on the desired test link above to get started.

  • You'll need proof of a negative COVID-19 approved test within 72 hours of entering/reentering Canada for all travelers 5 years of age and older.

  • Proof of your negative COVID-19 test can be in the form of a receipt or a screen shot image and must include:

    • Traveler name and date of birth

    • Name and address of the laboratory/clinic/facility that administered the test

    • Date on which the test was conducted

    • The type of test conducted

    • Negative test result

KSL Diagnostics will ensure that your test report will include all of the above for you. It is recommended that you access/download your test results provided to you by KSL Diagnostics BEFORE you arrive at the border as cellular data coverage may be unreliable at international border crossings depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Use the ArriveCAN app or website to update and track your testing status before and during traveling (see below).

Testing is not necessary for travel into the U.S., but is required for entry/reentry into Canada.

Complete a travel questionnaire on Canada’s ArriveCAN app

Set up account on and use the ArriveCAN app or website to provide mandatory travel information on and after your entry into Canada. It only takes minutes to help keep each other safe.

  • Fill out the ArriveCAN questionnaire, upload proof of vaccination – a photo of the CDC Vaccination Record Card works – and certify your COVID status, as well as a reason for travel.

  • You’ll be asked to come up with a quarantine plan just in case; but vaccinated, COVID-negative travelers won't need to use it.

Once in Canada, Be Prepared

  • Be aware of local restrictions and health guidelines — and pack plenty of masks

  • Many hotels and other tourist destinations are still not 100% back to pre-pandemic levels of services — so expect modified services, fluctuating prices, and closures - it's best to plan ahead and book early.
